" Prof. A.Ramachandran is an M.Sc.,M.Phil in Statistics from the Madras University. He joined Hindu College, Pattabiram, Chennai as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in June 1970 and retired as Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics in May 2005. He then joined Disha Institute of Management and Technology in July 2005 and left the Institute to Join Mody Institute of Technology and Science as Associate Professor of Mathematics. Later, he joined Pratap Institute of Technology and Science as Professor and Head, Department of Technology in July 2011 and continued till October 2012 before taking a break.
During his service, he has presented a paper on Introduction to Data Mining in an International Conference in Malaysia, sponsored by the Pratap Institute of Technology. He was chairman of Board of Examiners for 15 years at the Madras University. He was also a resource person in conducting a three day workshop on Statistics and its applications, in PSG College of Science, Coimbatore .
He started working with computers since 1981 and has helped in data processing services to Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Railway Recruitment board and similar organizations in Chennai from 1981 to 2004."
